Beauview is a small quiet place for families and couples to come for their Summer holiday. There's a wide range of activities to do - swimming, water skiing and tubing. You can borrow a kayak or canoe for a paddle around our clear lake. Sit around a campfire down by the lake under the stars and roast marshmallows or tell stories. Its a quiet, romantic time of the year. You wake up to mist on the lake, with cool crisp air. With the leaves down from the trees, you are able to see more deer and wildlife. We see loons on our lake every day. On my daily walk, I see trilliums in bloom in the forest. Fishing in Lake of Bays offers Lake Trout, Speckled Trout ,and Bass . EXCELLENT Spring Fishing! Motor Boat rentals are available. For Alpine skiing, Hidden Valley Highlands is within 20 km. of the resort, offering equipment rentals, daily and weekly lift tickets, snowmaking and qualified instructors. For Nordic Skiing, Arrowhead Provincial Park has 28km. of groomed trails, equipment rentals and also an excellent Tubing/toboggan hill! For snowmobiling, hundreds of miles of well marked groomed trails are accessible from the resort. The Trans Ontario Trail system is 10 minutes away! You can park your snowmobile at your cottage door. There's ample parking for cars, trucks and trailers. We have 200 feet of waterfront with a 60 foot dock to tie up your boat. Launching facilities are nearby.
